Sport and Me
Sport is one of my great passions; I've been sporty all my life from school to adulthood but I would say I've become serious about my training since 2015 when I was approaching my 50th birthday.
I don't know what it is about this milestone but it makes you think about life and ultimately staying healthy and happy for as long as possible! I was already a keen tennis player, playing competitively at club level and also a runner competing in half marathons.
Food was always a passion of mine because of my food degree but I began to look more closely into my diet and realised that it wasn't that brilliant. I was suffering from a lot of 4pm slumps where I would just have to take myself off to bed for a nap!
I now eat regular balanced home cooked meals and try and make all of snacks from scratch. It's made a huge difference to my energy levels.

Over the last few years, I've competed in several half marathons, I was tennis club's ladies singles champion at my club in March 2018 and in November 2019, I came first in my age category in the Malta Challenge Marathon.

So I'm pretty active which means it's very important to me what I eat. I hope you enjoy some of the recipes that I love to make and enjoy! Any questions, please do message me.
